Guppy time trials December 18, 2015

Our young guppy paddlers doing time trials this evening on the lake, toughing it out with a strong sea breeze.

Great to see these kids improving so much!

2015 Avon Challenge

Under 10 winning teamUnder 10 winnersFour teams of guppies and juniors represented the club in the 2015 Avon Challenge, a relay running from Middle Swan Bridge in Caversham to Riverside Gardens in Bayswater. This event is a precursor to the major race, with the winning competitors in the Avon Descent arriving only an hour after the junior paddlers finished, making it very exciting for the children with big crowds and media representatives present.

All of the CLBC paddlers preformed well in sunny conditions, with our Under 10 team of Raffi and Kobie Good Gerne and Boti Kaplan winning their category.

Coach, Agnes and club members, Mitch Hale, Owen Pickett and Robyn Brown escorted the Under 12s and Under 10s along the river.
